February’s chosen theme was “Dark and Sultry”…
and things ended up looking a lot moodier than I expected.
February was a very trying month for me, physically and emotionally. There is a lot going on for me and my little family and at times it can be quite overwhelming, While I didn’t mean for this look to come out … moody… something I used irritated the heck out of my eyes and they would not stop watering. So moody, it became.
Thankfully, Marching (so far) is looking so much better and I am optimistic about the adventures to come.
As spoonie with a constant case of dry eye, when I take photos and my eyes are particularly irritated and bloodshot, I will lightly go in in-post and tone down the saturation around the whites of the eyes. For this look, I wanted to keep that raw feeling associated with certain emotions. Gotta work with what I have, right?
My eyes would not frakking stop watering. I would like to say that the NARS Sheer Glow Serum Foundation did not budge at all when my tears would run down my face.
