There is something about the color gold that looks AMAZING with brown eyes, don’t ya think? Especially if those eyes have a little bit of green to them that the gold can accentuate and pull out center stage.

I have this long blonde wig that I rarely ever wear because it is Rapunzel-length long and it always gets tangled… BUT during my recent foray into making my Instagram feed a little prettier – I’ve been doing a color order thing… or at least I was in the middle of doing a color thing until May came around and then it was all PURPLE PURPLE PURPLE for Lupus Awareness Month. I may pick it back up again. It did help to keep me on my makeup toes when I would have the energy to do my makeup. Plus, you have to admit that it looks quite pretty.

To be completely honest, summertime is hard for me – as a Spoonie. My energy seems to get thrown out the window and add to that that our house is on an energy saving plan during the hottest times of the day, our house gets toasty which adds to my energy-zap. Oh well. Maybe that will change soon. Who knows…

Back to the post and this goldeny-goodness look.

I really do love how this look turned out. It made my eyes look HUGE. Normally, I am more of a silver fan as far as metal tones on my skin-tone – but this is making me reconsider and switch teams. Who knows???
