… summer is now on the downhill slide, and while I am ready and waiting for autumn to grace my doorstep, I wanted to bring you a summery grunge look… like a golden-hour punk rockstar.
I’ve recently been into using my Natasha Denona Mini-Star palette just because it’s easy and compact. Like throw in your bag with A brush and be on your way. This look was inspired by the golden hour sunlight that has been peeking through my living room window and giving this awesome firey glow.
I am thinking about doing a little review on the Mini-Star palette, mainly since I’ve been reaching for it this summer. Would that be something you’d be interested in seeing? Tell me about it by hoping down to the bottom of the post and leaving a comment. Pretty please?

A few years ago, I wouldn’t go near “bronzey neutral” eye looks. I was all about the bright in-your-face colorful eye looks and now, while I still love my colors, bronze or olive grungy eyes bring me so much joy especially when I’m in a hurry. Also, it helps to pop out the gold/green speckles in my eyeballs, when I’m not wearing colored contacts, at least.
I also think a bronze eye look just screams late summer vibes. Pumpkin spiced lattes be damned!
Speaking of things that I am digging, the Urban Decay Lo-Fi Lip Mousse in Fade is friggin awesome. I got it back in January when it went on sale for a week and started using it over the last few weeks. I thought it would be too dark on my complexion but it gives a GORGEOUS deep flush to my face and compliments my current freckle mixture.
HOORAY, you made it all the way down to the bottom of this post – CONGRATS! I am currently in the middle of 13DoH2k19 madness so if my looks are a little bit on the sparser end of things, that’s because I’m in major craft mode to finish my props and costumes for the 13 different looks that will be creeping up on your eyeballs come October. I’m super excited and I hope you enjoy them just as much as I am enjoying creating them.
If you would like to help make #13DoH2k19 even better, consider joining our Chaos Community over on Patreon or sending a coffee my way over on Ko-Fi. Or if monetary support isn’t in the cards, I would appreciate a share my looks + tutorials on your social media channels. Every little bit helps get the CHAOS out there.
