After a few of you requested that I show how I did my makeup for the Patreon Announcement and 2018 Favorites videos, I decided to give in. Today’s tutorial is going to focus on the eye makeup from those videos. It’s soft, simple, and beautifully glowy.
The beauty of this look is the fact that it ridiculously easy and quick to do. It’s one of my go-to makeup looks if I have to look put together while still demure. Ha! Me. Demure? Lolz. Anyways, this look is quite soft and would work well for those of you who want something that’s business or school appropriate.
I didn’t show how I did my base + brows + freckles in this tutorial. I have a separate video coming up next week that’s all about my current UPDATED base makeup application. It seems like now-a-days, my daily makeup has two modes – either light/natural-ish like I showed you how to create in this tutorial… or bring in your face avant-garde colors. There is no in between for me. And that’s okay!
I’ve been kicking the idea around of having a 101-type series for makeup basics. Now, as a subscriber to loads of makeup channels, there are already tons of basics-type tutorials out there. I want to know if you guys would like to see my take on the basics or whether I should just stick to what I am doing with my normal content. Let me know in the comments if this is something that you would OR wouldn’t like to see from me.
And in other news, I’m planning on setting up my PO Box this coming week! I’m excited and jazzed about being all “official” enough to have a PO Box. I’m going to completely bust up laughing if it just sits there and doesn’t get used. That would be my luck. HA. Pessimistic? A little… but it’s more of a sarcastic irony.

I’d definitely be interested in a basic series! A lot of people do things slightly differently, so I feel like it doesn’t hurt to get more perspectives.
